Liquorice Park Lincoln

WELCOME TO

LIQUORICE PARK

Liquorice Park Millennium Green: fantastic views over the city are guaranteed. Featuring fruit bushes, orchard and arena - all just a few steps from the historic city centre.

Our vision is to retain and enhance a beautiful and substantial green breathing space in the middle of a busy and enlarging city for the benefit of wildlife, residents and visitors.

We want to retain the natural feel of the site, but formalise access routes.

Volunteers and local groups will help with the maintenance and development of the habitats.

We will encourage aspirations from the community to develop unique features on the park using artwork.

Including Artist Richard Bett,The Secret Garden.......

Local Artist Richard bett has tranformed a hidden area of the park using recycled objects from the Local community, this work is about transforming a unused corner of the park and turning it into a hidden peaceful garden, Richard has  been working voluntarily with children from the surrounding area on various artworks, and given up much of his valuable time over the past five years sometimes working late into the evening to enhance the environment.
